university
I am currently on my third cup of coffee surrounded by sheets of chicken scribbles, writing my dissertation when I thought about writing this blog post.
Now I won't sit here and bore you with an
essay of what my dissertation is about but the subject that I am researching
got me thinking that there is not really a true representation of what interior
design students are challenged with in their university years.

Nearing to two weeks ago me and the girls jetted of to Amsterdam. I have never visited The Netherlands and actually never thought I would ever visit. Needless to say when you hear Amsterdam being mentioned, it is always linked with its seedy reputation but in actual fact the city is beyond beautiful and its landscape and architecture as a whole is effortlessly serene.

But where did August go? I can't believe we're already 4 days into September and with only 2 weeks left till university starts again! Funnily enough I'm waiting eagerly to get back to uni and its routine. As much as I love a little holiday, 5 months is just too long for me and I can't wait to get back and get my hands dirty. With this year being my final year in my interior design course (inshallah) I'm planning on keeping myself extra organised with these cute stationery finds.
If you follow my Instagram account you will surely know that I am a notebook "hoarder". When it comes to buying stationery, I always tend to choose items that are appealing to the eye. This insures I look forward to using them. My notebook collection ranges from florals to your everyday black simple leathered pad.
Here are a few other stores that I enjoy browsing through to feed my notebook obsession.
Good luck to everyone who is returning back to school next week and to those following after. I wish you all a great successful year!

Hope you all have had a great start to the New Year. The last few weeks have been so stressful beyond I can describe. This has to be my first E V E R major project. If you remember back in late October I shared with you my thoughts and ideas on the Burlington Arcade and Loboutin store design.
So I thought I would share with you all today part of this project and my tips on how to render CAD drawings in Photoshop.
The shop space that we were working on was N.Peal (far left of the drawing).

Can't believe its already been 2 weeks since I went Venice! Time really does fly. Heres a short little video I put together for you guys, showing you some bits and pieces of my experience while I was there. I tried to document as much as I could on video but once I got back I realised I didn't take as many videos as I thought I did.... It really was an overwhelming experience that I guess me and my camera couldn't keep up with it all.
