#DESK SITUATION | WORKSPACE TOUR

9 July 2015

*blows dust of keyboard* Heya guys! guess who's back?
Woaahhhh, it's been a while since I last posted on here, well 5 months to be exact. (do you count the last post as an actual 'post'?)  Life has been quiet hectic but I wont bore you with my life details. I'm sure your lives are much more interesting then one stressed out, caffeine obsessed student haha!

I think its about time I shared with you all my new workspace! exciting stuff no? I now finally have a space where I take great pleasure in calling "my office". Even though its a small corner in my room that I have designated for it but non the less its better than nothing ey.
If you have been working on your bed for God knows how long like myself, any type of "workspace" would be so appealing to you no matter of its size or location. Am I right or am I right? Hahaha

My room throughout the last 4 years, since moving into our new house has gone under so many changes. Like literally I cant even count how many times I have tried to re-arrange it, but now I can proudly say I have created a space that I can work, socialise and rest in.....hmm perhaps another blog post for styling/decorating small spaces?

My main theme was minimalism. I adore the "clean" look. Whites, greys and blacks have currently over the last year been my obsession. Don't get me wrong I love a little pop of colour, some shabby chic decor but for my workspace I wanted it to scream contemporary, minimalist junkie.

Everything was done under a budget that I gave myself, because being a student in London is no cheap tingg ya na what i mean hahah.

I have tried to keep it  clutter free by placing a chest of draws to keep my bits and bobs near by and shelving for the same purpose. I wouldn't say its completely finished and there are still a few things on my 'to buy' list, but for the time being this desk situation will do.

Whats your ideal workspace?

  1. I like your style I would go for a similar look! I currently 'work' on my dining table but really need to overhaul my spare room and desk!

    1. Thank you for the lovely comment. Im glad you like it! oh yes you really do! Honestly once you setup a workspace, you'll be wondering why it took you so long to set up one in the first place!
