Hello hello! It's about that time when I whip out some printable Valentine's treats, whose with me? Well that's exactly what I've done with this mini card set and envelope liners. They're perfect for writing sweet or slushy love notes to you're very special someone this Valentine's day.
The great news is that its really simple to make them yourself! All you need is an A4 sheet of card or paper (I would recommend using card stock for the cards) and coloured paper of your choice for the envelopes. Simply download the templates over on my Etsy Store and print the notecards onto card and the envelope liners onto paper. Cut around the notecards, envelope template and liner and then lightly use scissors with a ruler to score along the dashed lines on the envelope. Fold together and then secure with some double sided sticky tape or glue. and hey presto your done!
Have fun sending a little bit of love someone's way. I've already sent a couple of cards out to my girls, because everyone deserves some love. Hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day!
Well what you waiting for? Head over to my Etsy Store and get printing!

It’s been a bit quiet on the blog. With good reasons of course. Im working on a few projects that I hope to be sharing very soon!
Pinterest over the years has probably become a very good friend of mine. I love scrolling through it whilst drinking my morning pick me up. Whilst doing so I came across this gorgeous black bedroom in an apartment in Norway. There is something undeniably glamorous and louche about a moody dark room. It goes without saying that it takes a lot of courage to go darker and most people get frightened of the idea of having a black interior but this bedroom gives off a soporific effect, oozes calmness, soothes and encourages relaxation, which are the perfect elements to any bedroom.
I love how the linen sheets are in a soft muted neutral colour to create a stunning contrast against the dark walls. Another favourite of mine is the gold accents on either side of the bed. By restricting the colour palette, you give yourself more elements to work with that can exist in the space happily together. Unfortunately I couldn't find who designed this beautiful bedroom but the designer of this room did not shy away from the decorative, adding a gold ornate framed mirror, antique floor lamp, a touch of greenery to add texture and black and white photographic art to add further contrast.

This interior is restful, and practical. It has an enduring charm mixed with some classic and modern touches. I find this bedroom inviting to the eye and I quite like the dynamic contrast between the backdrop and the brighter furnishings chosen.
Would you ever go darker? I know I would.
Hope you have a great weekend

Coffee, coffee, coffee. My first thought in the morning. In actual fact, I can't start my day until I've had my first cup. I drink coffee and then I do things. Its like a daily morning ritual. Some people run, others meditate but I on the other hand find great comfort in making my first cuppa. To be honest with you, coffee is my favourite way to trick myself into doing things. It's my reason to wake up. Of course, there are other reasons but coffee is always the incentive, at the very least.
I'm starting a new series on the blog called "Monday Mood" where I will be sharing with you all sketches of the things I've had on my mind throughout the week and of course, I was going to start the series off with a sketch of my favourite beverage because really, who wouldn't love to wake up to a freshly brewed coffee with some macarons on a Monday morning?
How do you start off your day? What's your morning ritual? I would love to know
P.s This is your Monday morning reminder that you can handle whatever this week throws at you.
Sincerely,
Coffee xo
